Special Provision Relating To Investigation And Prosecution
(1) Notwithstanding anything contained in the prevailing laws, the Government of Nepal shall form a separate unit in order to investigate into the cases of offences of which children are accused.
(2) The Government of Nepal may designate an official working at the District Police Office, who has got training on juvenile justice, to perform that function until the separate unit is formed pursuant to sub-section (1).
